If I need to monitor a device connected to any of the Ethernet ports on the RUTX50 for network activity, how do I set that up on the RUTX50 to send an SMS if that device becomes inactive on the network. Do I need RMS to achieve this or is there a config on the RUTX50 that can be set. As an example, I have a PC connected to Ethernet Port 3, this PC is sending and receiving data continuously. If the PC either freezes/locks up, or stops sending and receiving data, how can I get the RUTX50 to send an SMS to alert me that this has happened.
If you need the RUTX50 router to send an SMS when your PC disconnects, the best tool for you to help in this case would be the RUTX50 Events Reporting, specifically the Ports state event. If something is free, you're paying for a service with your data or in other ways. Those are obviously security concerns; I personally would not trust a free platform for sensitive information. And of course, they have to run servers, hire developers to keep up with security updates and software development, and provide customer support, which has an ongoing cost.

Could you explain what RMS should be free? Because, I don't get it. Also, I've yet to see a free RMS platform from any vendor.
